A single glance in the look past
I was traveling on a busy street in a big city. It was a beautiful summer evening and the sun had already set. I walked very relaxed and unhurried. She walked towards me and when she saw me she smiled at me. I smiled back and for a brief moment we made eye contact.
She had long, dark hair that reached her shoulders. Her eyes were bright blue and her smile was sunny. She was beautiful and I couldn’t help but stare at her.
At that moment I felt like I was in another universe. Everything around me disappeared and it was just her and me. It was a moment of magic, a moment in which I felt completely alive. It was a moment when I saw the world through new eyes.
I wanted to talk to her, but I was too shy. I was afraid I would say something wrong. I didn’t know who she was and I would probably never see her again.
But I will never forget this moment.
I’m glad I met her. She showed me that there are still miracles, even in the midst of the hustle and bustle of everyday life.
This anecdote shows how a quick look into a stranger’s eyes can have a big impact. It can make us happy, give us hope or just put a smile on our faces.
